The described project consisted of hardware selection, inspection software and integration of the vision system into the production line.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Aim of the project<\/h2>\n\n<p>Quality control of the installation of the gasket on the plastic component (car door handle component).<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Type of inspection<\/h2>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>3D measurement &#8211; position of the gasket relative to the plastic base,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3D scan-based detection &#8211; distinguishing component types based on markings;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Project details<\/h2>\n\n<p>The application involves checking the correctness of the assembly of a plastic component with a gasket, at two assembly stations within a single station. Elements such as:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Checking the presence and correctness of the tightening of the gasket lugs on the plastic piece,<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Checking the correct adhesion of the gasket to the plastic part,<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Checking the presence and proper tightening of the plug mounting clip,<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>control of the presence and type of plug, depending on the selected reference,<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Checking the compatibility of the symbols placed on the plastic component and the gasket with the symbols set in the reference.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Main challenges<\/h2>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Detection of black seal on black plastic,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cycle time &lt; 8 seconds;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hardware solution:<\/h3>\n\n<ul
